Jasmine. Lemon. Nectar. Tea-like and structured.
The Adado co-operative is located in the Bule District of Yirgacheffe and is comprised of more than 1100 farmers who grow cherries at altitudes of 2000 m.a.s.l. and above.
Our importer has been actively working with this co-op for more than ten years and provides logistics and resources for improving the quality of every harvest. The coffee was purchased through the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange Program (ECX). This institution meticulously grades and evaluates every bag of coffee to ensure a quality based price and hence better returns for farmers.
We find this coffee to be particularly representative of the Yirgacheffe flavor profile and are sourcing from this region for the third consecutive year. To enhance the great floral aromatics and the complex tea-like character of Adado we use a very light roast.
Please enjoy our Adado as a filter brew.
