Suke Quto Decaf
Fruit cake. Stone fruit. Mild acidity.
Sweet and pleasant cup without caffeine.
The decaffeination on this organic coffee is solely done with CO2, which make it 100% natural and recyclable.
The Suke Quto farm has transformed a great deal over the past few years and is a great example of organic and sustainable growing practices in coffee farming. Since its establishment in 2005, Suke Quto has progressed to become a leading producer of high quality coffee thanks to the help of our importer Trabocca.
The establishment of quality control systems has meant vast improvements year-on-year. Only red ripe cherries are picked, which are then washed with spring water, mechanically pulped, then fermented in water for 48 hours before being dried on raised beds.
This lot of decaffeinated beans has surprised us with its great aromatics and pleasant acidity, which is hard to achieve when decaffeinating coffee.
