Diima Danche

The Danche Washing Station is located in Chelbesa, Gedeo in the Gedeb region of Ethiopia. The station receives cherry from around 400 local farmers. The local farms are located at very high altitudes of 2000-2300masl, which helps shapes the distinct character of this coffee. Due to the cooler climates, the coffee cherries ripen over a longer period of time, allowing for more natural sweetness to push through in the final cup. The result is a coffee full of bold berry-like sweetness, heavy florals and bright, dry-fruit notes.
