El Recreo

The El Recreo farm has been in Espinoza family for around 50 years. Jose runs his production together with his wife and son, as well as others helping during harvest. José shared how he’d like to improve the quality of his coffee. Aiming to invest more in machinery and infrastructure to help standardise the processes. This particular lot, however is far from standard, this Anaerobic Natural Pink Bourbon was an absolute standout on the cupping table when we selected it, giving bold confectionary sweetness, bright tropical-fruit notes and beautifully balanced florals. This is an outstanding coffee that will impress anyone as espresso or filter.
