El Triunfo

As many know, we are always fans of the Pink Bourbon variety, known for its beautifully elegant and flavourful profiles, and this washed lot allows for the varietal to really speak for itself. El Triunfo sits around 2000masl in the Huila region of Colombia, and is part of a larger cooperative, brought together with the aim of increasing the productivity and well-being of the members. The owners of the cooperative invest in many programs such as housing, education, healthcare as well as assisting in purchasing fertiliser and other equipment to increase output and quality. The benefit of this is that all premium above the current market value goes straight back to the members, helping to motivate and push producers each year to produce incredible coffees.
