Gatina Nyeri AA

The Gatina Washing Station is producing some of the best coffees in Nyeri region of Kenya. The station receives cherry from nearly 800 members from the local area, all delivering freshly-picked coffee cherries to be processed throughout the harvest period. At the collection points, cherry is rigorously checked for ripeness and defects before it is accepted to the final production, helping to ensure a more consistent and clean taste-profile, as well as incentivise producers to only pick cherry at its peak. The resulting coffee is round, sweet and flavourful, with plenty of ripe fruit-like character.
