Apricot, chamomile & vanilla
The Businde Washing Station is located in the northern province of Kayanza. This station processes cherries from 650 local farming families, as well as owning their own plantation of more than 8000 coffee trees. The coffee pulp is distributed amongst the producers for organic fertilizer, and seedlings are donated to farmers to increase production yields. For us, this is the classic washed Burundi profile, with bright citrus and herbal notes.
